You are reminded that we are a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site and as such all rules laid down by the Club are rigorously enforced. These rules are available here (pdf file) and you will be expected to be familiar with them and abide by them at all times.
We prefer bookings to be made online, but a provisional reservation can also be accepted by telephone or email. This must be confirmed with full payment within 5 days of acceptance, otherwise your reservation will be considered null and void. A deposit is payable if booking more than 8 weeks in advance with the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.
All pitch fees must be paid in advance, or on arrival if you have not pre-booked.
Any cancellation must be in writing. The following charges will apply having been calculated from the date of receipt by us of the written cancellation.
Over 8 weeks prior to arrival date - Refund of monies paid less any non-refundable charges already incurred by us (eg. credit card transaction charges etc.)
Over 6 weeks prior to arrival date - 50% of cost of stay plus any non-refundable charges already incurred by us.
Over 4 weeks prior to arrival date - 75% of cost of stay plus any non-refundable charges already incurred by us.
Less than 4 weeks prior to arrival date - 100% of cost of stay.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances we reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time up to your arrival date, by either telephone or in writing to the telephone number, email address or postal address given in your booking. In these circumstances a full refund of all monies paid will be made but this will be the limit of our liability.
Your pitch(es) will be held until 1900 hours on your arrival date. We reserve the right to re-let any pitch not claimed by this time unless you have notified us (by telephone, email or in writing) of any late arrival, when we will keep the pitch until your stated arrival time.
Dogs and other pets are welcome up to a maximum of 2 animals per booking and provided that we are notified in advance. The animal(s) must be well behaved and under proper control at all times, on leads of not more than 2 metres length. If any dog, or other animal is suspected of misbehaving, or not being under proper control this will in the first instance be brought to the attention of it's owner. Any further misbehaviour will result in the owner being asked to leave the site immediately, without question, and without any refund of payment already made.
All children must be under proper parental supervision at all times. You should also be aware of the inherant natural dangers of your surroundings and take suitable precautions. If in doubt please ask.
Any day visitors that you may have to your unit during your stay must report to the reception before proceeding onto the site, and pay the day visitor charge. Day visitors are not permitted to stay overnight.
Ball games and the kicking or throwing of balls is strictly forbidden anywhere on the farm unless special permission has been granted by the management of Woodhouse Farm Ltd.
We like to encourage access to the fields and river bank, but this is not always possible and permission must be obtained beforehand.
We reserve the right to restrict or prohibit access to or from the site at any time in the interest of security. All users of the site do so at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted by Woodhouse Farm Ltd for any accident, loss or damage however caused.
In the event of misconduct of any sort the right is reserved to ask the offenders to leave the site immediately, and without refund of any monies paid. In serious cases the matter will be referred to the Camping and Caravanning Club and the Police. The cost of any damage caused will be charged to the offenders and recovered through the courts if necessary.
